Cove Integrative Therapy offers trauma-informed counselling, connection groups, and integrative coaching for adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, life transitions, grief, and relationship stress.

Amanda's approach is trauma-informed and integrative, combining IFS (parts work), Soul-based Somatic therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral skills to help you feel more grounded, supported, and connected to your SELF while repairing the emotional and generational trauma that keeps you stuck and out of alignment. Our journey together is collaborative and paced with care.

Sessions are available in person at Paddler's Cove on Lake Banook in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and virtually across Canada and Internationally.

Do you plan to use insurance?

Amanda is registered in the TELUS eClaims system as a provider for plans such as Canada Life and Manulife.

For clients whose extended health benefits are with a participating insurer and whose plan includes coverage for my provider designation, this may make claims submission easier. Coverage and reimbursement still depend on your individual insurance plan, so I encourage you to confirm your mental health or counselling benefits with your insurer directly.

Please note that not all insurance companies use TELUS eClaims, and not all plans cover the same provider designations. Please note Medavie Blue Cross does NOT currently accept the RPC designation as a provider.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

I kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Changes made within 48 to 24 hours of your session are subject to an $80 late cancellation fee. Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, are charged the full session fee.

As a solo practitioner with a growing practice, each session time is held especially for you. Giving notice when possible helps me offer that space to another client who may be hoping to get in that week.

I understand that life happens, and I may make exceptions in cases such as illness, medical or family emergencies, unsafe weather, childcare issues, or other unexpected circumstances outside your control. Please reach out as soon as you can if that is the case.

Please note that late cancellation and missed appointment fees are not reimbursed by insurance.
